Senior Business Analyst - Horizontal Analytics
Summary:
The horizontal analytics team is a team within the Enterprise Products and Experience organization focused on developing and maintaining platform analytics to drive product strategy, and quantifying the value delivered from new product capabilities.
As a senior business analyst, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to solve complex questions. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Data analysis: Using data to better understand who is using our platforms' capabilities, how they are being used, and ultimately developing and improving dashboards to provide transparency to platform leaders and stakeholders
Problem solving: Partnering with product leaders to develop robust estimates of value creation for new machine learning capabilities
Product: Identifying development work required to develop metrics, helping to size the required effort, and partnering with product leaders to have this work prioritized
Successful team members will need competencies in:
Execution: Create problem frameworks, develop hypotheses, assess practical feasibility, and support implementation
Partnership: Work closely with partners such as other Product leaders, Tech, Design, and Finance
Strategic & analytic orientation: A track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation
Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: Brings a healthy, tenacious, yet responsible approach to business. Shows sound judgment under ambiguity
Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Clear results orientation: Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. Drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment. Possesses a successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
- At least 1 year of experience in analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
- 1+ years of experience in market research
- 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis
- 1+ years of experience in consulting
