Duties
Serve as an assistant principal advisor to the D/NCBC, DD/NCBC, and ODNI senior leadership for critical analytic and collection strategies along with assessments and evaluations related to the counterproliferation of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons; relevant delivery systems; and
interdiction activities.
Lead a team of professional staff by providing strategic direction, empowering leadership at all levels, and providing actionable feedback regarding personal and professional development.
Lead and oversee the formulation, development, production and evaluation of a broad range of policies, processes, and guidance on subject areas, including mission enabling functions and intelligence oversight disciplines, and communicate these policies, processes, and guidelines to community stakeholders.
Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive, proactive counterproliferation and biosecurity strategy for the IC.
Implement campaigns and strategies to improve counterproliferation and biosecurity analytic and collection program plans across the IC.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within the IC, USG, academia, and other research entities to identify critical customer needs, long-term priorities, and partnership opportunities. Identify, examine, monitor, and articulate significant counterproliferation and biosecurity policy/resource issues impacting ODNI relationships with key partners, the Executive Branch, Congress, and the public.
Perform personnel management and fiscal planning responsibilities with a focus on building a high-performance workforce; promote team building and a collaborative work environment; ensure goals and performance objectives are understood; assess performance and provide timely feedback, recognition, and remediation.

Applicants may be considered for this position as a reimbursable detailee, if endorsed by the employing agency. Applicants must have current TS/SCI clearances with polygraph or have the ability to obtain one. The ODNI does not conduct polygraphs or provide security clearances for detailees.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
Expert knowledge of the IC and USG mission, objectives, programs, and activities to lead the advancement of CP and biosecurity priorities.
Extensive managerial experience with personnel and financial management policies, regulations, and practices.
Proven strategic and tactical planning, critical thinking and analytical skills, required to propose innovative solutions and implement change with resourcefulness and creativity.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate, network, and communicate across the IC and USG agencies to develop, coordinate and influence change.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to clearly convey complex information to audiences of all levels.
Education
Bachelor's Degree.
