Venturi, LLC, a Chenega company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Targets Telemetry Engineer who will perform important work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. The Targets Telemetry Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures (TC) program office with development of ballistic missile target vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain in house software to decommutate telemetry data
• Deploy for missions and provide technical and telemetry support
• Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently
• Analyze, develop unit testing, and test programs and products before distribution
• Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• 3+ years of relevant experience working on missile defense-related or other DoD program/project
• Development of object-oriented software using Java, C++, C# and more
• Ability to learn new software development languages and technologies
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and work both independently and collaboratively
• Experience applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems
• Active DoD Secret security clearance

Desired:

• Experience with source code control tools such as Git
• Familiarity with Matlab
