An Overview
A Management Analyst I performs entry-level professional work in analyzing and evaluating existing City administrative and operational procedures and methods and is responsible for assisting in the preparation of comprehensive reports and recommendations relative to administrative practices and procedures, fiscal management programs, departmental or agency organization, data systems development and similar management concerns. This position is responsible for ensuring that all Children’s Services Act (CSA) expenditures are processed and managed in the most efficient and cost-effective way for timely and uninterrupted service provision to children and families involved with Child Welfare Services. Work is performed under the general supervision of a supervisor, and latitude for independent action is provided. Work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through conferences, reports and evaluation of results obtained.
