Within the Capital One Business Cards & Payments Team , our Inside Sales team works with business owners to create long term, meaningful relationships to better understand their business and their entire B2B wallet. Through a consultative approach, we are able to help business owners optimize the rewards and benefits they receive from their Business Card products.

What You'll Do

As a member of our Inside Sales Team, you will be identifying and reaching out to businesses to grow the Capital One brand in an industry changing way. You will serve as a dedicated point of contact for Business Card Customers assisting them in identifying and utilizing the right product to meet their current and future business needs. The ideal candidate will:

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Acquiring new Capital One Business Card clients within a designated territory.
  • Ability to secure appointments directly with new prospects via cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.
  • Engage in phone consultations with business owners and decision makers, learn about their needs, and recommend products to achieve rewards goals
  • Effectively manage pipeline of clients & prospects
  • Analyze a business's total business spend to identify the right card product and identify additional opportunities to leverage the card.
  • Assist the business with incorporating the card into their purchasing platform and bookkeeping software and execute spend conversion plan
  • Achieve incremental charge volume targets
  • Compliant in all client activities and follow up through use of

Two open roles supporting territories (virtual): 1) Maine and 2) Virginia.

Basic Qualifications :
  • At least 2 years of acquisitions experience or at least 2 years of outbound sales experience

Preferred Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • 2+ years of acquisitions experience or outbound sales experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with small or medium size business customers
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry
  • 3+ years of experience in acquiring new customers in an inside or outside sales environment
  • 3+ years of experience meeting a sales metric or sales goal
  • Strong computer skills, and ability to multitask and navigate web-based tools
  • Proficiency using

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Remote (Regardless of Location): $65,000 - $69,000 for Inside Sales Sr Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
