RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement Azure solutions, including:
  • Migrations from on-prem to IaaS
  • Application modernization into App Services or containers
  • Developing operational processes and training staff
  • Assisting with policy, governance, and security needs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of experience.
• Experience with core Azure networking, IaaS, and PaaS offerings
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and modern CI/CD practices
• Experience with containers (both from a development and hosting/IT perspective)
• Must successfully pass a drug screening
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust background check

Overview

We are searching for a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect to join our team supporting the NRC-SNCC contract in Rockville, MD.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) GLobal INfrastructure and Development Acquisition (GLINDA) provides a wide variety of Information Technology (IT) support services to the NRC Headquarters located in Rockville, MD; with four Regional Offices. TekSynap is currently looking for a resource to join our Security Engineering team support NRC's enterprise network components.
