MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Analyzing and refining system requirements, determining technical design and structure of enterprise application services. Planning, documenting, assessing, managing, and enacting the enterprise-wide support for the IT integration services; among stakeholders and organizations. Providing oversight of enterprise software application portfolio management of health information/data, custom software applications, including physical and virtual servers, network devices, network protection devices, host operating systems, client operating systems, security services, monitoring services, web, application and database server software.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.

- Apply Database Management Concepts and Application Software Techniques: Manage the COTS credentialing software, the IHS web-based adverse events reporting system, and related IT systems such as database management, vulnerability management, data management, change management, application upgrades and testing, contingency planning support and testing. Perform maintenance, configuration, and operation of computer systems and servers for the current COTS enterprise credentialing software and the IHS web-based adverse events reporting system. Coordinate an Active Program of Communicating and Networking with End Users: Use knowledge/understanding of the medical credentialing and privileging process and the accreditation programs such as Joint Commission, the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Occupational Safety and Health Administration to serve as POC regarding the resolution of technical issues. Create innovative strategies and performs actions to improve the performance of systems and increase data quality. Product Adaptation Support: Utilize expertise to integrate hardware and software components, evaluate new applications software features and technologies, and communicate new features of version updates to end users. Ensure that the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to remain current in relation to the delivery of application software services. Assist with technical consultation on areas for improvement. Support new technical enhancements in collaboration with the vendors. Product adaptation will include, but are not limited to, customer access orientation, applications navigation, and applications use. Serve as COR and Review Lead: Serve as a review lead for contracts related to OQ based software and serves as the Contract Officers Representative (COR).
