Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop a PKI architecture that meets the organization's security requirements.
  • Install and configure PKI components, such as certificate authorities (CAs), registration authorities (RAs), and directory services.
  • Create and manage PKI policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to users of the PKI system.
  • Understand the organization's security requirements.
  • Identify, develop, and implement PKI solutions that can meet the organization's requirements.
  • Help users to register for certificates.
  • Provide training on how to use the PKI system.
  • Collect and analyze data on PKI performance.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities in the PKI system.
  • Implement solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Create and maintain documentation on PKI procedures and policies.
  • Stay informed of new PKI technologies and trends.
  • Reconfigure the rules and settings for the Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect against new threats and to support CA deployments.
  • Restrict user permissions using SELinux targeted policy.
  • Review and patch the RedHat Certificate System source code for defects.
  • Ensure that the software is developed using secure coding practices.
  • Deliver the GOTS Software to include PKE Application Source Code to the Government.
  • Ensure code is intended to be customer-facing available on the cyber.mil and/or public.cyber.mil or other similar platforms that are utilized by the PKI Portfolio and/or where PKI Portfolio has presence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Eight years relevant experience
  • Must possess Secret Clearance
