Job Details
Write automation tools and templates. Collaborate and work with all Arc teams to realize DevOps and automation goals. Create canonical templates using AWS Cloudformation and Serverless Framework. Build deployment and infrastructure pipelines using AWS Codepipeline, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, Lambda, and Serverless Framework. Ensure developers are using good practices that are as automated as possible. Build additional automation tools where AWS tools do not reach, or where there are gaps. Build tooling that helps Arc with multi-region redundancy. Improve and support existing automation tools. Help developers review their applications for good automation practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems plus 5 years of experience building highly-scalable customer facing applications OR Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems plus 3 years of experience building highly-scalable customer facing applications. Also required: 2 years of experience working on a DevOps team that owns the full engineering lifecycle; 2 years of experience designing and implementing continuous-integration pipelines, such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or Spinnaker; 2 years of experience operating applications on AWS or another cloud provider; 2 years of experience operating applications that run in containers (Docker) and a container scheduling service, like Amazon ECS or Kubernetes; and 1 year of experience with automated deployment tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Serverless. All experience may be concurrent. Job can be performed remotely from any US state or DC. Wage range: $157,061-$194,800/year.
