Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an Human Resources coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As an Human Resources Coordinator, you will:
•Collects and processes new hire paperwork for Central Campus, i.e. schedules pre-employment physicals; completes Employee Data Form and sends to HRIS; interacts with Recruiters/new employees regarding missing or incomplete information; ensures accuracy of files; scans files to managers; prepares files for Image Silo; verifies primary source for required Licensure and I-9 documents; and submits and reviews new employee online background checks
•Prepares information needed for Orientation i.e., Orientation folders, flash drives, tent cards, Employee Roster and catering
•Ensures new hire paperwork is compliant with Joint Commission Standards and performs audits of new hire paperwork as required by Joint Commission
•Oversees and administers SGMC Contract Employees, i.e. schedules pre-employment physicals (if required); collects required documents; monitors employment status ; prepares and scans files into Image Silo
•Coordinates first year recognition program
•Administers Tuition Reimbursement/Scholarship Program for SGMC ensuring accuracy on courses for approval and approving application requests
•Conducts research and prepares reports which may require compilation and analysis of data
•Assists Business Partners with various special projects
Qualified candidates will possess:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferably in HR or related area required
•2 years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources
