Job Summary
Aptive Resources is seeking a junior program analyst, responsible for supporting project management activities across workstreams. The program analyst will assist with establishing and maintaining a process to manage the project, including managing tasks and resources, tracking and reporting project progress, and any other project-related activities. Tasks may include supporting program analysis, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, event planning, metrics, project management task management systems, and risk management.
This full-time position is located in Tysons Corner, VA.

Aptive Resources is seeking a junior program analyst, responsible for supporting project management activities across workstreams. The program analyst will assist with establishing and maintaining a process to manage the project, including managing tasks and resources, tracking and reporting project progress, and any other project-related activities. Tasks may include supporting program analysis, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, event planning, metrics, project management task management systems, and risk management.
This full-time position is located in Tysons Corner, VA.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support project meetings and conference calls for assigned projects, workgroups, and teams (to include scheduling, reserving conference rooms, issuing invitations, developing the agenda, and recording minutes)
- Assist in developing executive-level briefings and presentations
- Support several program initiatives providing various services, including program and project management related support, communication support, program analysis, change management, organizational and functional assessments, performance metric development, data analysis, implementation planning, and business process reengineering
- Create reports, metrics and tracking mechanisms and provide analysis to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate and consolidate status report information on a weekly and monthly timeframe
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience business processes and management.
- Bachelor's degree business management or related field.
- Prior experience working with the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis.
- Ability to develop white papers, briefing materials, and to make oral presentation of these materials to all levels of management.
- Ability to educate and inform senior federal management on various communication planning alternatives.
