Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The candidate will provide the full range of support services required to manage the day-to-day operations and systems administration of the DTRIAC computing environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient availability of the current and evolving DTRIAC services and capabilities.
  • Working with the government team, as principle members of the SA Group, the candidate will maintain the DTRIAC infrastructure, to include all servers and storage devices such as the DTRA Storage Area Networks (SAN) across multiple separate networks.
  • The SA Group will maintain the security of all DTRIAC Infrastructure systems and perform Information Assurance (IA) to maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) tasks, documentation and system accreditation required to maintain system Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • The DTRIAC infrastructure includes all routers, circuits, firewalls, interconnecting cabling, network security equipment, network monitoring equipment, and end user IT equipment.
  • In order to mitigate security risks, the candidate will coordinate closely with the government and support team responsible for DTRA's Cybersecurity Support Services ensure security upgrades, patches, configurations, and logging are introduced and implemented with appropriate priority commensurate with the level of exposure to potential cybersecurity threats.
  • In support of the DTRIAC Systems Administration Group the candidate will support multiple computer networks at various levels of security classification.
  • The candidate will plan, manage, back up, troubleshoot, fix/repair, install OEM and security patches and upgrades, and monitor the health of the DTRIAC Server and Storage infrastructures to ensure continuous, secure, and efficient access to the full range of DTRA partners.
  • The contractor will provide database administration for SQL, ORACLE databases. The contractor will provide application support to various DTRA offices as designated in Service Level Agreements (SLA) with those offices.
  • Included in this objective the candidate will maintain real-time situational awareness of the DTRIAC infrastructure and supported environments; shall lead restorative actions to ensure all networks remain up and operational.
  • Additionally, as part of the Systems Administration function, the contractor shall continuously monitor infrastructure equipment and components to support appropriate technical refresh plans.
  • Identify required software;
  • Develop software, including but not limited to database and OS scripts, for purposes including but not limited to automation of recurring tasks or tasks which are unfeasible, unacceptably expensive, or prone to error if performed manually, or tasks for which scripts can provide valuable documentation of the process employed in performing the task;
  • Verify software is validated for deployment on targeted IT systems according to DTRA requirements and processes;
  • Install and configure software, and maintain configuration control;
  • Ensure all software development, implementation, and configuration is performed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ Years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain an SCI.
  • 8570 IAT level II Certification Required
