Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a senior subject matter expert in the areas of monitoring and analyzing enterprise networks.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to the Government, Project Lead, and other Network Analyst in support of monitoring and managing the customer networks.
• Review the work of the other team members based on government standards and industry best practice and provide feedback and recommendations through the Project Lead.
• Maintain awareness of trends and best practices related to networks, technology and IT-related topics and provide recommendations to the Project Lead and Government on possible improvements or changes to customer systems and processes.
• Provide high-quality and professional customer service in all interactions.
• Use the FBI Enterprise Network Monitoring Platform to analyze and provide data and documentation related to the network performance of any or all network components.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7 years of relevant IT experience with specialization in networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches and routers and analyzing complex networks.
• Working knowledge of web applications, web servers, application load balancers and storage systems. Must have good knowledge of general network and security tools and methodologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS and access control lists.
• Advanced skill in scripting / coding (python, go, Perl, Bash, etc.) in order to support network automation tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area (preferred).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Enterprise Core and Infrastructure certification.
• Top Secret security clearance required.
