Job Summary
Aptive is seeking a full-time SharePoint and Power BI Developer . The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is America's largest integrated health care system, providing care at 1,293 health care facilities, including 171 medical centers and 1,112 outpatient sites of care of varying complexity (VHA outpatient clinics), serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.
The SharePoint and Power BI Developer will support the implementation of a lean, responsive and rapid decision-making model supporting VHA Office of Health Informatics (OHI) EHRM within the current VHA governance structure.

The SharePoint and Power BI Developer will support the implementation of a lean, responsive and rapid decision-making model supporting VHA Office of Health Informatics (OHI) EHRM within the current VHA governance structure.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support client directors/managers with high-level, cross-functional focus and assistance.
- Delivery of high quality, senior executive-level deliverables.
- Evaluate analytical results and develop new and adapted analytical techniques.
- Develop solutions which address a range of business needs including portals, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management utilizing tools that include Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint
- Conduct 365 Platform administration tasks, migrations, and other M365 technical tasks within the M365 environment.
- Make visually pleasing low code/no code solutions and construct rich data visualizations using the Microsoft Power Platform
- Analyze data to determine appropriate metrics values for the designated project
- Develop briefing materials and assist with client meetings
- Coordinate and cross collaborate with other internal workstreams and external contracting teams to support the development of success metrics
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in related field
- 3 years of of experience developing and supporting solutions which address a range of business needs including portals, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management, or business reports utilizing tools that include Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint
- Ability to leverage database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reporting.
- Experience performing system administration tasks, migrations, and other M365 technical tasks within the M365 environment.
- Experience with data and data analysis (including refining data in excel, data collection, and data interpretation)
- Experience developing highly effective materials and work products (PPT decks, Power BI dashboards, detailed reports, etc.)
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactive in asking questions to identify ways to improve client delivery
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communications skills to support business writing, professional correspondence, and meeting facilitation with diverse group of clients
Desired Qualifications
- VHA experience HIGHLY DESIRED
- Master's degree
- Experience working with the VHA Central Office
