Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality of the software adheres to the user requirements and usability, generate test scripts to verify the user requirements, modify software test scenarios as needed, perform analysis of test results and report non-conformity and quality issues.
  • Identify software quality issues, coordinate with system developers to resolve defects.
  • Perform functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and security patch testing.
  • Support Help desk by answering customer tickets, performing queries, running reports, working with support desk lead


Qualifications

Required Education:
  • Associates Degree in Computer Studies or a related field of study; Bachelors degree preferred

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain DFC Public Trust

  • If selected, Interview with Hiring Manager and/or Technical Lead


Required Experience:
  • 0-3 years of experience supporting IT systems
  • Attention to detail on analyzing software requirements, understanding business scope, envisioning user workflows, and drive to break the code to ensure the delivery of a quality product
  • Experience performing UI testing, database testing and creating test documentation.
  • Adhere to team priorities and work collaboratively with the development and testing teams.
  • Ability to work independently and systematically.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Willingness to learn and perform code analysis, develop test automation scripts to execute and improve the efficiency of software testing.
