Process Management - Principal Associate

As a Principal Associate in Process Management at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes that deliver excellence to your customer each time. The Principal Process Associate will play a key role in delivering processes that impact the company's bottom line. General Responsibilities:

• Leading all aspects of well managed activities that are required to support a Card Platform Product to:
  
  • Develop and review Business Continuity Plans and work with multiple groups to align on a detailed plans
    
  • Review end-to-end processes from the Card platform(s) and work with compliance and auditors to ensure our processes, controls and monitoring are adequate
    
• Leading the containment and resolution of risk events that have been identified as a result of platform or process failure.
  
• Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams from the platforms and all their components
  
• Oversight of all the platform controls to ensure that they are effective; seek opportunities to improve or automate controls
  
• Responsible for all the corporate certifications, quality assurance reviews and delivering on auditors requests
  
• Collecting data/information and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership
  
• Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities
  
• Tracking and resolving process breakdowns
  

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
  
• At least 2 years of process management experience
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  
• 1+ years of experience in Compliance or Risk Management
  
• 3+ years of process management experience
  
• Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or certification
