The MIL Corporation seeks an Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Tester to support a federal government client in the Chesapeake, VA area. The candidate will validate the functionality and operation of RPA automations and Microsoft 365 (MS 365) tools created with PowerBI, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and/or PowerApps. The ideal candidate has experience with automated testing tools and/or RPA testing.

  • Create Test Plans to address testing of automations and software tools developed with UiPath and MS 365
  • Execute test plans, test specifications, and test procedures according to schedule
  • Contribute to preparation and review of test procedures and reports
  • Validate functionality of the RPA bots and/or MS 365 apps
  • Test availability and configuration of the front-end user interfaces
  • Support analysis test results to determine if the application has met the requirements and all features are working as intended
  • Execute tests in alignment with requirements documents and maintenance release notes
  • Provide recommendations on improving functionality and mission usage of applications, databases, and environments
  • T est ongoing maintenance releases to include patching, backup and recovery, new release rollouts, and upgrades
  • Support a team in the design and deployment of RPA automation solutions utilizing UiPath and other tools
  • Document and analyze client financial and business processes for automation feasibility
  • Develop strategies and recommendations for RPA-enabled solutions across various platforms
  • Maintain and prioritize automation request pipeline
  • Support client outreach, education and training on RPA solutions
  • Support development of documentation including process definition document (PDD), technical design document (TDD), user acceptance training (UAT) documentation and user guides

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of performing business functional or system analysis
  • Experience in functional and technical testing of business applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to communicate technical as well as non-technical information clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Must be at least a US permanent resident with greencard

Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Federal financial, accounting, procurement or other related business processes
  • Experience with RPA software such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Kofax, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Experience with 508 compliance testing
  • Strong project, risk, schedule, communication, change, and deliverable management skills

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or other relevant Business Field

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $110,000.00 -$130,000.00 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package .
