Marketing Statement
The Transformation Project Manager is a key member of the Transformation Office team. This role will assist in implementing our strategic transformation plan, delivering on high-profile initiatives to improve agency economic efficiency. This position will focus on the enterprise side of change for transformation initiatives that impact business processes, systems and technology, and organization structures. This position works closely with senior organizational leaders to develop, facilitate, and implement transformational change.

SUMMARY
The Transformation Project Manager is a key member of the Transformation Office team. The incumbent assists with implementing the Your Metro the Way Forward strategic plan. The incumbent leads the implementation of, and/or supports high-profile initiatives to improve agency economic efficiency, service quality and overall performance aligned with the vision, strategy and goals of the Authority. General duties include, but are not limited to, identifying and scoping key business challenges across the organization, managing and coordinating strategic projects, building relationships across departments to facilitate collaboration, gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify business process improvement opportunities, supporting and monitoring the implementation of recommendations, and communicating this process and the findings across the organization. Specific duties include: (1) supporting & coaching for major cross-functional improvement projects, (2) data analysis, (3) facilitating process improvement opportunities, (4) leading and developing agile project teams, (5) building collaborative partnerships within & outside Metro, and (6) leading the development of reports & strategic decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leads the design, management, coordination and control of major departmental business improvement projects that deliver economic efficiencies, and improve productivity, safety and performance in delivering our Strategic Transformation Plan.
- Oversees and manages the Transformation Office's strategic approach to data analysis and designs, coordinates, and performs advanced data analysis. Ensures that the Transformation Office, the entire Metro organization, and public stakeholders are informed of key metrics. Tracks the implementation and progress of the strategic transformation plan.
- Proactively examines existing operating and administrative processes and identifies opportunities for improvement throughout Metro. Simplifies and improves the ways Metro works and ensures comprehensive implementation of strategic transformation plan principles.
- Builds and manages multiple Agile project teams comprised of internal Metro and external partnering and contractor personnel. Facilitates implementation of strategic goals for improved cross-functional collaboration & communication, and improved processes and outcomes across Metro. Establishes collaborative partnerships with internal and external partners to build the capacity and capabilities of the Transformation Office. Delivers effective solutions to critical business problems.
- Regularly produces analytical reports (including the annual Transformation Report) that equips the Transformation Office to make evidence-based, strategic decisions and provide insight into the progress made towards implementing the strategic plan.
- Supports the Director to plan, coordinate and oversee the department's overall administrative, financial, and operational activities, procedures and staff.
