Responsibilities & Qualifications
The goal of this Task Order is to provide the Government with information technology support services to maintain and sustain the TIMS application. This Task Order will encompass both support of existing applications and development of new, or enhancement of, existing applications.
BSEE requires a broad range of information technology application development and integration services to maintain the existing inventory of TIMS applications and provide services to identify, design, develop, and deploy IT solutions that meet BSB business requirements and needs. All solutions must optimize the use of the existing IT infrastructure and platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Development Database Administration to create scalable high-performance queries, stored procedures, database optimizations and triggers to support application development.
- Work with business analysts to gain an understanding of the business and system requirements to determine optimal database design and maintenance.
- Provide guidance, technical leadership, and technical support to the development team members regarding the database design and maintenance.
- Design, create and maintain database objects including functions, stored procedures, triggers, integrity constraints, indexes.
- Design and maintain the architecture of logical and physical data models in line with the architecture standards and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot database issues and errors.
- Conduct design and code reviews; perform tuning of queries and other database objects.
- Investigate, document, and provide technical assistance to developers and business analysts on data flows between applications.
- Perform Data Impact Analysis across business systems for requested and proposed data model changes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant technical or business discipline, OR 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- 5 + years of experience with database design, development and data modeling, and database development tools (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, Toad), ETL and integration technologies including Oracle ODI and Microsoft SQL.
- Experience in one or more structured programming languages (C++, C#/.Net, PL/SQL, etc.).
