Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install and configure software and hardware in a virtualized environment
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure quality of software and hardware products
  • Identify and report defects to development team, and work closely with them to resolve issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Automate test cases and integrate them into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in testing


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum DOD TS/SCI Clearance
  • 8570 IAT II level certification, i.e. Security + CE
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a virtualized environment
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience with virtualization hypervisors such as VMware, Oracle VirtualBox, or Hyper-V
  • Linux/RHEL/UNIX shell scripting and Systems Administrator functions
  • AWS/Azure cloud computing administration experience
  • Microsoft SCCM/WSUS management and/or implementation


Overview

We are seeking a Test and Integration Administrator to provide technical support for our customer Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Fort Belvoir, VA.

The Test and Integration Administrator will be responsible for installing and testing software and hardware in a virtualized environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as experience with virtualization technologies.
