RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as Information Assurance and Cloud computing Subject Matter Expert (SME) with regards to Certification and accreditation (C&A) along with a broad knowledge of NIST RMF standards and guidelines.
- Expert knowledge in NIST Special Publications 800-53 and 800.37.
- Identify, manage, and resolve cloud computing security risk and implement "best practices" as applied within a cloud environment (across all of the different deployment and service models, and derivatives).
- Develop and maintain cloud security documentation and training materials.
- Knowledge of FedRAMP assessment methodology of security and privacy controls deployed in cloud information systems to include six (6) domain areas:
- Architectural Concepts & Design Requirements
- Cloud Data Security
- Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security
- Cloud Application Security
- Operations
- Legal & Compliance
- Work with other members of the Information Security team to develop and implement cloud security policies and procedures.
- Serve as a technical resource for other team members and provide guidance on cloud security best practices.
- Stay up to date on the latest cloud computing security trends and technologies.
- Conduct security assessments of cloud environments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement cloud security incident response plans.
- Present cloud security findings and recommendations to management.
- Work with other IT teams to ensure cloud security is integrated into all aspects of the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Lead cloud security projects and initiatives.
- Respond to cloud security incidents and ensure appropriate remediation measures are taken.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience; Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience
- DOD IA experience
- Experience in assessing IA Controls and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex Information systems.
- Certifications:
- Cloud Computing Security Certification
- Cloud Computing Security Professional (CCSP)
- Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) or equivalent
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level I
