Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Associate Vice President of the Cardiovascular Service Line who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Associate Vice President of the Cardiovascular Service Line you will:
•Be responsible for driving system-wide strategy for the cardiovascular service line across multiple entities through an organized approach, which meets the objectives of the entire Adventist HealthCare system.
•Drive determination of operational best practices, collaboratively develop the clinical quality focus, identify key industry trends, as well as effectively capture strategic input from key stakeholders across the system in a manner that helps align initiatives at each entity with the cardiovascular strategic plan for the system.
•Report to the President of Physician Enterprise and lead the Service Line in coordination with the dyad Physician Leadership partner and in collaboration with the Adventist HealthCare entities where cardiovascular services are provided.
•Develop and oversee the system-wide quality metrics for cardiovascular services.
•Collaborate in development of cardiovascular service line financial metrics and contribution margin analysis with an eye towards ongoing improvement in results.
•Provide and lead research and education to key internal stakeholders regarding operational and clinical best practices to be considered for implementation across Adventist HealthCare entities.
•Develop of a progress-focused two-way working relationship between the service line and entities that is inclusive of cardiovascular service line priorities being presented for consideration in the annual entity budgets.
•Establish key medical staff relationships throughout the system in order to maintain and build the collaborative nature of the service line.
•Drive physician engagement, alignment and recruitment within the service line.
•Participate in the development and lead the implementation of a cardiovascular service line strategic plan for Adventist HealthCare and identify opportunities for service line best practice development, quality and cost improvements, and growth in the market.

Qualifications include:
•Bachelor's degree required, preferably in nursing or other health care related field of study. Master's Degree in business or health care related field strongly preferred.
•Current MD RN licensure if applicable.
•Minimum Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience, with strong preceding clinical professional experience in a health care field.
•Demonstrated leadership experience in cardiovascular services is required, with focus on financial, quantitative and analytical skills.
•Ability to establish and maintain sound and productive organizational relationships interdepartmentally, with the Medical Staff, professional groups and the community at large.
•Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of cardiovascular patient care.
•Knowledge of industry trends and developing areas of cardiovascular services.
•Knowledge of current leadership, management, and quality improvement concepts and the ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to address areas of need.
•Adaptable to change; demonstrates knowledge of the process of change and ability to implement change.
•Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Skilled in maintaining an effective communication system.
•Very high level of analytical skills necessary to develop and assure compliance and administer Adventist HealthCare's mission, administrative and personnel policies and budgets, monitor and interpret financial statements, and evaluate and develop services and programs.
