RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine the BOM for successful system deployment (including the integral and associated hardware, software, licenses) and develop and coordinate detailed implementation plans for each system deployment site, to include sensors.
- Provide the associated hardware and software and perform installation of the COTS modernized backbone architecture solution.
- Develop design documents that serve as the basis of all staging, configuration, and testing.
- Support a design review session to validate the design.
- Build a test lab, pre-production environment, and production environments.
- Solution must be able to integrate into DISA's Network Operations (NETOPS) to include the Government provided Out-of-Band (OOB) management network and the Operational Support System (OSS).
- Ensure Core Session Policy Router (CSPR) requirements meet the technical specifications within the System Requirements Document (SRD) to include 99.999% uptime and seamless scaling up to 250,000 concurrent call requests and increased SIP traffic.
- Ensure Session Border Controller (SBC) requirements shall meet the technical specifications within the SRD including operating in a back-to-back user agent (B2BUA) high availability (HA) configuration, deliver continuous SIP signaling, provide 99.999% uptime, be capable of terminating SIP trunks from neighboring SBCs, and support failover operations.
- Support SBC Policy Configuration for SIP normalization, call transcoding, network address translation, service theft and fraud, spoofing, denial of service (DoS), distributed denial of service (DDoS), and Telephony denial of service (TDoS) protection.
- On-demand Capabilities:
- The service platform solution shall have the ability to scale up or down with concurrent call attempts as needed to support the busy hour concurrent call
- Ensure each phase is tested. Success criteria and Acceptance Testing for each phase shall include, but not be limited to successful call attempts, ability to route a SIP call based, and successful 911 call attempts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Experience: Six (6) years relevant experience in network design requirements and Information Assurance, developing system and network design requirements in a large-scale implementation of Voice and Video over IP and UC/Communications, using IP, SIP, UC ASSIP, SIPConnect, XMPP (IM/Chat/Presence), QoS, and H.323.
- Security/Certification Requirements:
- Sensitivity Level: IT-I - Critical Sensitive
- Clearance: Secret
- Must have at least two of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or higher, Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) Collaboration
