Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Chenega Agile Real Time Solutions (CARS) is currently looking for a Mid - GEOINT Analyst that will be in in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities
  • Employ software packages (ArcPro, ArcGIS, SOCET GXP, Remote View) to analyze data sets for spatial patterns, provide updates to predictive models, assess accuracy of existing models.
  • Verify test results from current models against updated data sets to verify results.
  • Use geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java, or other coding languages for geoprocessing.
  • Use version control tool such as GitHub for data and scripts.
  • Coordinate with IMINT specialists to examine potential military facilities and make determinations as to relevance.
  • Create up to 200 polygons representing facilities iteratively.
  • Create one-page reports summarizing findings for each unit.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree and 3+ years relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma and 5+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in python and VBA scripting, extensive knowledge of POSTGIS Geodatabases, and ability to debug, rewrite, and align product finishing processes for current and future needs.
  • Experience in the activities (e.g., maintenance, data/database replication, performing queries, programming, validation checks, quality control, back/up/recovery) related to the administration of computerized databases.
  • Expertise in research and information gathering for the following sources: primary legal documents that pertain to the delimitation, demarcation and maintenance of the boundary, including textual descriptions, coordinate lists, reports and accompanying maps; native maps, secondary source maps, and historic maps used for extraction and comparison.
  • Experience with data management and trend analysis.
  • Experience working with foreign partners in an international setting.
  • TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI poly clearance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of the following: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, ARC-SDE.
  • Working knowledge of Python scripting.
  • Converting VBA scripts to Python.
  • Knowledge of geospatial analysis software suits you to accomplish the mission. In general, NGA uses ESRI, ArcGIS, Socet Set, and CARIS BASE Editor, the industry standard for maritime boundary GIS compilation.
  • Expertise in common office software to include spreadsheets, word processing and e- mail.
  • Expertise in extraction from stereo and mono imagery at various resolutions and digital terrain elevation data sets.
  • Expertise in attributing and digitizing boundaries from georeferenced and ortho-rectified sources, applying projection, datum, and coordinate transformations, georeferencing and ortho-rectifying source materials (maps, imagery).
  • Experience in utilizing geographic names information from the GNDB.
  • An understanding of several NGA products such as Controlled Image Base (CIB1), Topographic Line Maps (TLMs), Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED), Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM), National Technical Means (NTM) imagery, as well as commercial imagery in boundary delineation processes, including data retrieval and storage.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive technical reports, which will include preparing textual and graphic reports on the sources, methodologies, obstacles, and conclusions of the boundary delineation processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with analysts in the Source Directorate, Dept. of State, and CIA who also do boundary analysis for guidance, and coordination.
  • Ability to work overnightShift hours. Shift will be identified upon hire.
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting.
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.
