Job Summary

Aptive is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to join our team and support the creation of innovation business process solutions. The Integration Engineer brings the ability to apply critical thinking across an opportunity lifecycle - engaging customers to understand requirements, translating business and technical requirements to realistic and inventive solutions.

The ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience in enterprise support covering a wide range of Information Technology (IT) and Health IT services performing configuration of varied integration efforts, automation, systems and software engineering, operations, and maintenance. Government systems experience in this area is a big plus.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in driving forward business process solutions
  • Responsible for producing customer-centric, comprehensive, and compelling technical integrations that support the development of solutions for our Aptive and our clients.
  • Responsible for supporting groups of SMEs through project level of effort estimates, software/hosting cost build up, and implementation plans.
  • Consult with SMEs to address a wide range of technical delivery options and align industry frameworks, methodologies, and proof points to specific service delivery activities.
  • Contribute to management methodologies for large scale programs, including comprehensive approaches to address cost, schedule, performance, risk mitigation, quality control, knowledge management, and transition efforts.
  • Support planning of engineering tasks, deadlines, milestones, and task sequencing and tracking of metrics for the integration efforts.
  • Coordinate with system owners with planning, implementation approaches, testing, documenting, and maintaining, systems or subsystems using defined processes and tools.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery methodologies and practical implementations of them
  • Experience with SharePoint; PowerBI; Integration software
  • Experience with support technical and management requests, including connecting disparate systems and architectures, systems architectures, solution features and benefits, schedule, performance, quality, and risk management approaches
  • Knowledge of overall program and project management processes
