The Training Specialist llI shall conduct and supervise training and development programs for employees and external customers.

The Training Specialist llI shall conduct and supervise training and development programs for employees and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-job training, operating schools that duplicate shop conditions for trainees before putting them on the shop floor, apprenticeship training, classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, distance learning, satellite training, other computer-aided instructional technologies, videos, simulators, conferences, and workshops.
- Set up teaching materials and lesson plans before the class.
- Issue completion certificates at the end of the class.
- Plan, organize, and direct a wide range of training activities.
- Respond to corporate and worker service requests.
- Consult with onsite supervisors regarding available performance improvement services.
- Assess the training needs of clients and then guide them through the most appropriate training method.
- Help employees develop new skills and enhance productivity while improving the quality of work.
- Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
- Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
- Travel up to 10% as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's level degree in education, psychology, or related training systems discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience in curriculum development
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Background check required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to pass customer security requirements.
- Proficient with computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English language.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-performance-based environment.
- Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff, government personnel, and management.
- Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.

- Ability to travel 10% as required.
