Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a Scheduler to fill a position for Integrated Healthcare Portfolio Management (IHPM) operating functions, a multidisciplinary team charged with IHPM process implementation and automation; communications and training to enable stakeholder management; IT development of supportive environments; recurring status reports, comprising both systems modernization and organizational improvement; additional collaboration with special project teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with VHA executive business owners leading portfolios of assigned VHA Programs (and high-level requirements).
  • Engage Portfolio Managers to develop and execute program requirements that are aligned to VHA's and IHPM's portfolio alignment guidance.
  • Gather, validate, and integrate project schedules into Microsoft Project
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve scheduling issues in Microsoft Project

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in project scheduling
  • Demonstrated experience working for VA
  • Familiar with VHA, its organizational structure at the headquarters and VISN level
  • Experience with data management
  • Experience with managing large demands of integrating many project schedules into one
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use and management of Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated experience in working and collaborating with various stakeholders and Senior Leadership
  • Strong written and communication skills to include developing reports, briefings, and similar artifacts

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience working with the VHA Central Office
