Senior Visual Information Specialist (VIS)

Overview: IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company with an immediate opening for skilled a Senior Visual Information Specialist (VIS: Web/Graphic Designer) to support a federal client’s private sector engagement initiatives. The VIS will provide innovative, accurate, visually appealing and appropriate web (SharePoint), graphics, and marketing support to ensure the customer communicates executive and strategic communications and events effectively. This position is exempt.

Clearance: Top Secret with SCI and CI-Polygraph.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of writing, editing, and graphic production experience.
• Excellent oral, written, and visual communications skills with experience supporting executive-level leadership and strategic communications.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Open to collaborate with division staff and help them to understand what is possible both visually and technically given the government environment.
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple, concurrent projects with varying production timelines. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to act somewhat as your own creative director and project manager.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience acting as webmaster or administrator for an Intranet or other internal information dissemination site such as with SharePoint. Alternately, experience in another content management system (CMS) like Wordpress, or using web builders such as in Wix, SquareSpace, GoDaddy, or something similar.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience in custom graphic designs for electronic media including digital newsletters, templates, publications, brochures, logos, signage, etc.
• Experience in print media for event programs and booklets, and large format printing techniques to support events with signage.
• Experienced in a variety of design and printing technologies, and interacting with printers and print services/print shops to communicate and coordinate special requirements.
• Demonstrated high-end design skills and knowledge of current design trends.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Desired: Graphics Design, Fine Art, Visual Technologies, Interactive Design, Communications, or related field)
