this opportunity with Chenega Analytical Business Solutions (CABS) at the Enterprise Multimedia Center (EMC), you will help offer a full range of services and solutions to support and promote the readiness of the American Soldier. The EMC is the one-stop shop for visual information services throughout the Federal Government and the Department of Defense. EMC offers a full range of media services to enlist, educate, and empower the warfighter.
Summary:
TheData Entry Clerk and Customer Support III will perform general office day-to-day clerical and office automation duties, including word processing, and a variety of clerical functions.
Work you'll do:
As a Data Entry Clerk and Customer Support III within our Enterprise Multimedia Center (EMC) team, you will:
• Provide front-end customer service support.
• Provide daily data entry into the VIOS system, managing initial work request processing.
• Greets customers (Soldiers, civilians, and contractors) both in-person and on the phone politely and professionally.
• Direct customers to the appropriate division or EMC team member that will best support their needs.
• Assist customers with work request creation and quality control of all work requests in The VIOS system.
• Review and process "NEW" VIOS work requests to alert the VI & Operations Manager and division leads of special or urgent customer requests.
• Prepare a variety of correspondence, forms, reports, and statistical material in draft or final form.
• Serve as backup and assists the Production Manager by entering and retrieving information in the Visual Information Ordering System (VIOS).
• Perform various officer automation support within the EMC facility
• Create standard business spreadsheets with formulas, documents with correct grammar, presentations, and newsletters with the appropriate MS Office product.
• Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
• Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of helpdesk experience in responding to queries promptly.
• Background check required and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within 6 months of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to pass customer security requirements.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain VIOS issues and the status of work requests in a manner customers understand.
• Ability to perform basic accounting and scheduling functions to support the US Army Visual Information Ordering System (VIOS)
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations
• Ability to perform basic accounting and scheduling functions to support the US Army Visual Information Ordering System (VIOS).
• Ability to possess strong interpersonal skills, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Must have basic computer knowledge, a good work ethic, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to assist in other areas of the VI/Multimedia Center
