KippsDeSanto is focused on providing comprehensive transaction advisory services - primarily M&A, private financing, and strategic advisory to middle market defense and technology companies.
The Vice President of Business Operations actively supports the day-to-day operations of KippsDesanto & Co. The individual will work closely with the Managing Vice Presidents and Senior Directors on business operations (engagement tracking, CRM, process improvement, policies, marketing, business development, external events, internal events), human capital planning (People Leaders, professional development, staffing, recruiting, compensation, training, etc.), management of the Operations Team and Committees, and management of the KippsDeSanto / Capital One partnership (compliance, facilities, technology, business reviews, budgeting, etc.).

General Responsibilities
- Development and oversight of processes designed to drive efficiency and productivity based on annual business objectives
- Coordinate and engage with Capital One partners on supplier management, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, technology and facilities management
- Oversight and management of new and existing employee recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and professional development, including internships and Investment Banking Development Program
- Oversight and management of third-party resources engaged by KippsDeSanto
- Manage processes designed to maximize KippsDeSanto's business, including development of tools that drive improvements in industry intelligence and engagement management (Salesforce CRM, technology resources, etc.)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of investment banking experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- 6+ years of investment banking or corporate development experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Ability to assess the market, identify opportunities and collaborate to secure high value business
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence
- Extremely strong analytic and strategic skills
- Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration
- FINRA Licenses 7, 63, SIE
