Responsibilities/Duties:
· Own the overall technical roadmap of automation solutions in collaboration with development and QA teams
· Establish, build, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on requirements, design documents and specifications.
· Maintain active relationships with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and test case reviews.
· Adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions or offer expertise with limited information requirements
· Implement continuous integration processes to fit within a DevOps environment
· Expert in test planning activities including functional, regression, performance, load and smoke tests for both web applications and database.
· Ability to report defects in a timely manner, track statuses, validate fixes, and recommend for defect closure.
· Participation in daily scrum meetings, agile ceremonies, and weekly test team meetings.
· Install, maintain, or use software testing programs.
· Support our metrics program by keeping track and gathering metrics on all activities.
Required Qualifications:
· Be a U.S. Citizen
· Possess a minimum of eight years of professional experience testing software. A Master of Science (MS) degree in related field or equivalent work experience can be substituted
· Expert level skills with:
o CICD Pipeline Knowledge
o Containerization Strategies
o Selenium
· Must have 4-5 years prior experience in writing Selenium Webdriver automation test scripts.
· Must have hands on experience with IDE tools such as (Selenium IDE, Cucumber, Katalon studio, Quick Test Pro, UFT).
· Strong experience in object-oriented design development
· Hands on experience on Testing frameworks like Junit, Nunit, Protractor, Cucumber, JMeter
· Experienced in testing SOAP & REST web services using Swagger, SOAPUI, ReadyAPI
· Experience automating Angular and/or REACT based UI frameworks.
· Ability to do troubleshooting.
· Good communications skills in both writing and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience on TestComplete is a big Plus.
· Experience in Agile- Scrum, CI/CD is a plus
· Prior experience with 508 Testing for Federal Agencies is a big plus; Good understanding of 508 compliance test execution and documentation.
· Good working knowledge in Javascript , Jira, Jenkins, Git, Maven, bitbucket
