Job Summary
Aptive is seeking a Network Architect to join our Digital Transformation team in support of our federal clients. The Architect shall work collaboratively with the Government PM, COR and Contracting Officer. Under the guidance of the PM, the Network Architect SME shall assist in the overall management of this task order and ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
This is a full time, contingent hire position.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure the assessment of Government Network needs
- Design Data Network Systems
- Possess the skills needed for troubleshooting to resolve Network Issues
- Have detailed knowledge about networking components such as routers, modems, adaptors, switches, and servers. The individual must have evolving knowledge of all the latest developments related to these components.
- Have an in-depth understanding of communication technologies like wireless, mobile applications and telecommunications systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Be experienced in subnetting and breaking down IPv6 Addressing, inclusive of having the ability to articulate and educate others.
- Have experience with IPv6 with an IPAM platform
- Have experience implementing IPv6, IPv6 with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
- Have experience with security fundamentals regarding IPv6 and its implementation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance/background investigation as needed
- Currentlyhold a CCIE Certification. - Expired certifications can be used if the certification was held within the last 5 years.

- Masters Degree
- Experience supporting federal agencies
