Job Summary
Aptive is seeking a Marketing Communications Subject Matter Expert with a strong background in strategic communications, marketing and branding to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Communications (10BCOM).
10BCOM serves as the corporate communications office for the Veterans Health Administration, the nation's largest integrated health care system and the third largest civilian workforce in the federal government. 10BCOM is responsible for informing Veterans and other key internal and external audiences about the services VHA offers, organizational priorities, ongoing initiatives, health and wellness issues, advances in medical and clinical care, and a wide array of events and activities occurring both nationally and locally.
This position is responsible for designing and developing integrated marketing and communication plans that effectively promote products, services and/or brands. They coordinate marketing campaigns to engage target audiences, increase awareness, and drive stakeholder actions.
The ideal candidate is decisive and pays attention to details. They have previous experience designing and developing integrated marketing and communications plans and are highly organized. They love to work in a team environment. They are systematic in their project work. They exceed client expectations with high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
This full-time position is in Washington, DC. This position may also be remote.

- Design and develop integrated marketing and communication plans that effectively promote products, services and/or brands.
- Coordinates marketing campaigns to engage target audiences, increase awareness and drive stakeholder actions.
- Independently manage resources and be able to deliver all components of basic and stand-alone projects.
- Create meaningful relationships with clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in the communications industry.
- Master's in Communications, Political Science, Management, or Public Health.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
