Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define business requirements for application development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications that guide application development teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding.
  • Ensure that customers achieve their desired outcomes while utilizing and managing products, services, and resources.
  • Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and relevant parties throughout the application development process, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Create comprehensive and accurate user stories in Azure DevOps or similar tools to guide the application development process.
  • Ensure user stories effectively communicate the needs of the business and end-users, leading to the development of solutions that fulfill those needs.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project completion within established timelines.
  • Understand the principles of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling, and apply this knowledge to enhance application performance and functionality.
  • Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on the new application's functionality and features, ensuring a smooth transition and effective utilization.
  • Offer ongoing post-launch support, addressing any issues or concerns that arise and making recommendations for future improvements.


Qualifications

Required Education
  • BS in, Information Systems, Engineering, other related discipline

Required Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with Infrastructure, DataBases (Oracle &/or MS SQL) projects
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for user story management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Agile Scrum or SAFe certified
  • Strong customer-centric mindset, focused on delivering optimal user experiences and outcomes.
  • Experience working in adaptive methodologies like Agile, DevOps and Scrum, etc.
  • Understanding of the process of interviewing users, gathering business requirements and translating them into
    functional requirements
  • Ability to capture meeting minutes
  • Ability to lead team collaboration activities such as the daily stand up and other scrum ceremonies
  • Ability to use Agile Lifecycle software and effectively document requirements and manage the backlogs
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and teammates
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
