Responsibilities & Qualifications

As a SharePoint Developer, you will provide both technical and functional expertise in SharePoint and SharePoint Online (SPO) migration. You will provide applied subject matter expertise to governance, knowledge and data management, solution development, high level analysis, collection, assessment, migration, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, testing, training, documentation, and implementation. You will resolve problems which require an intimate knowledge of the related subject matter and apply principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions. The successful applicant will serve as a SharePoint Web Developer using SharePoint Designer and out of the box SharePoint capabilities to support agency-level requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for full life-cycle software development, data modeling, and system testing. Good technical writing skills and ability to adequately communicate and document all work performed.
  • Participate in all phases of the advanced collaborative systems life cycle beginning with gathering user's functionality and system requirements, architecture, design, implementation, test, deployment and support phases. Additionally, this position will be heavily involved in all aspects of integration, planning, designing, implementing, troubleshooting, repairing, and providing recommendations for collaborative systems improvements based on customer requirements and new technologies.
  • Experience in SharePoint administration, installation, migration, implementation, topology, and server configuration (Web and Index).
  • Proficient in war fighting reporting systems that focus on military functions, such as, equipping the force, causalities, planning, logistics, COOP, and requirements, while working at a minimum at the CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Development and Level 2 for Services.
  • Works independently, designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining complex SP Server 2013/2016 and Windows 2012 R2/2016 server environments, including implementation and support of web front end servers, index servers, and application and search servers.
  • Supports all components of the SharePoint environment including form, administrative site collection administration activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restore, performance analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Will also assist in the design, architecture, availability, reliability, and security of future SharePoint environments and work with customers to document administrative tasks and verify service level agreement requirements are being met.
  • Works closely with staff to provide advice and support to properly implement engineering efforts into staging.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience.
  • BS/BA
  • Top-Secret clearance required with SCI or SCI eligibility.
  • DoD 8570 Level II or III compliant certification and computing environment certifications required
