Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Assistant to support ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) . IHSC's mission is to provide medical care to maintain the health of individuals in the custody of ICE . IHSC is committed to ensuring a system of care that is ethical, responsible, and accountable through rigorous surveillance and monitoring activities . The COR Assistant at Aptive will play a key role in providing this support to IHSC and achieving their mission.

This position requires on-site hybrid support at our client location.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and execute appropriate action based on review of received security documents.
  • Perform extensive and detailed electronic record keeping functions in accordance with program policies and position.
  • Perform appropriate electronic and/or verbal communication based on applicant document review and or change in applicant PSU status.
  • Maintain high level of proficiency and ease in use of Excel spreadsheets, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Act as liaison between the vendor, applicant, Personnel Security Unit, Contracting Officers and others with a need-to-know status.
  • File and maintain documents containing sensitive PII in accordance with agency policy.
  • Review documents for discrepancies in data reporting, clarify, and reconcile through a standardized process.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings as established .
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of direct experience with, and high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Microsoft Word®, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of, and moderate to high proficiency in, common Microsoft Office programs, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Ability to critically review documents and determine appropriate disposition according to program requirements.
  • Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries related to various stakeholders.
  • Must be able to appropriately prioritize a spectrum of duties from the routine to unexpected high priority.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in addition to understanding appropriate email etiquette.
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in English (verbal and written) in order to develop positive rapport with vendors, applicants, co-workers and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate in an electronic work environment including, web based training and communications.
  • Knowledge of regulations (HIPAA/Privacy Act) regarding the confidentiality of applicant information as well as Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance as required for the position


Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting a federal program, experience with IHSC highly desired
  • P roject management experience
