The Security Manager advises staff, managers, and employees on all aspects of government security requirements and maintains minimum physical security requirements for operational facilities. Provides input as requested on security implications of new proposals and business opportunities. The Security Manager will perform FSO and CSSO responsibilities.

The Security Manager advises staff, managers, and employees on all aspects of government security requirements and maintains minimum physical security requirements for operational facilities. Provides input as requested on security implications of new proposals and business opportunities. The Security Manager will perform FSO and CSSO responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates collateral personnel security clearance requirements with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
- Assists employees in preparation of security clearance paperwork using the electronic Questionnaire for National Security Positions, to ensure compliance and completes processing for forwarding to government.
- Coordinates additional security requirements such as Polygraphs, National Agency Checks, and Counterintelligence Screening.
- Coordinates SCI personnel security clearance requirements with various government customers (depending on contract requirements).
- Maintains a Database of all cleared employees and applicable contracts.
- Manage personnel security records for all cleared employees.
- Processes and manages incoming and outgoing Visit Requests for classified visits.
- Responds as an On-Call person for alarm activations in the HQ's facility.
- Prepares and manages DD Forms 254 for subcontractors and interprets requirements of DD Forms 254 issued to subsidiaries management by MIOS.
- Manage access control system and process, including systems installs, granting and monitoring access, and issuance of proximity. Manage issuance of ID badges for security identification purposes and as required by contract.
- Prepares reports and notifications to appropriate government agencies as required by applicable government regulations.
- Assist with creating, editing, and/or identifying security education material.
- Keeps senior management apprised of any security changes, deficiencies, or potential problem areas.
- Coordinates all security requirements with appropriate government agencies and interacts with their security staff to ensure processing of requested actions.
- Manage accountability of all classified documents coming into or being sent from the facility (when applicable).
- Provides courier briefing and authorizations to employees, as needed.
- Assist with identifying the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for automated information systems that process classified information. May serve as ISSO for AIS. Assist with preparing and maintaining the AIS and assist with Automated Information System Security Plans (AISSP) and provides oversight to ensure compliance with government-specified operational requirements.
- FSO - Under the cognizance of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), manages corporate compliance with the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Rule) and individual contractual requirements as specified on contract DD 254 forms.
- CSSO - Manages Corporate compliance with all aspects of the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Program in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5105.21-M-1 and applicable customer regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Security Support Staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Chenega policies and applicable laws.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two-year college degree and 8+ years of experience or High School Diploma and 10+ years of experience:
- Experience to include:
- Corporate level of a government contractor and government (civilian or military) security experience.
- SCIF management under any government agency.
- FSO Program Management Training, for Possessing Facility.
- Active Top Secret, with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
- Knowledge of maintaining automated information system
- Valid Driver's License.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of all aspects of the NISPOM Rule and SCI Administrative Security Manual.
- Must be familiar with Automated Information System Processing requirements for both collateral and SCI computer systems.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines that require quick turnaround.
- Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as required.
- 25% travel may be required.
- Proficient in MS Office programs including Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. MS Automate is a plus.
