FS and F&RB Compliance Data Support and Analysis Effective Challenge Pod Lead - Risk Senior Manager
As a Senior Risk Manager in Compliance, you will provide professional risk judgment that enables business partners to tackle major company challenges. In this role, not only will you lean into your analytical and problem solving skills by developing and deploying innovative solutions to mitigate risks to the company, but you will also grow your strategic and influencing skills as you create and implement risk strategies that enable the company to win in the market. You will create order and sense out of complexity and uncertainty and enable confident, data-inspired decision making.
In this role, you will thrive in a cross-functional and collaborative environment that values unique perspectives, rewards innovation, and challenges the status quo. As an integral member of the team, you will have a high level of exposure across the division partnering closely with senior business and compliance leaders, Technology, Risk office, Legal, and Operational Risk Management.
The Effective Challenge Pod is the centralized analysis and data team for compliance, supporting Compliance for business insights and deep dive analysis. In this role, the Senior manager will be a people leader and will be in the forefront of 1, will conduct deep dive analysis for the Compliance Leadership team, support the Enterprise Complaints Program, and provide an effective challenge for Compliance Testing.

In this role the Senior Manager will (on a regular basis) :
- Lead team of analysts and risk managers in managing their workstream priorities and deliverables
- Provide thought leadership and effective challenge support to complaints reporting and analysis and perform compliance deep dives
- Partner with product teams on an as-needed basis, facilitating adoption of products in risk management and compliance
- Collaborate with corporate compliance and business partners across the different lines of business
- Interact with multiple lines of business SMEs to understand business process and data
- Identify, initiate, and execute process, program and effective challenge improvements
- Conduct deep dive analysis on compliance and complaints across all lines of business
- Interact with the Compliance Leadership Team to present analysis and insights
- Interact with Compliance advisors and testers to conduct effective challenge
- Coordinate working on multiple projects simultaneously; leveraging and influencing business partners to drive results
- Complete risk event management and recovery process documentation while adhering to Enterprise Risk Managements Risk Event Management Standards
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of experience in compliance, governance, or risk management
- At least 3 years of people management experience
- At least 2 years of quality assurance testing or business analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of experience in compliance, governance, or risk management
- 3 or more years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
- Data analysis experience using SQL and Python
- Strong written communication skills including experience with leadership memos and decks
- Experience with analyzing/evaluating unstructured data
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
