Overview

ERP International, LLC (www.erpinternational.com) is currently seeking a Senior Billing Specialist for a full-time position based out of our corporate office in Laurel, Maryland (remote work options are available). The Senior Billing Specialist will be a member of the Corporate Accounting team. Working in a team environment, the staff member will be an energetic self-starter and will provide support to the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

Job Specific Details and Tasks:

  • Process invoices for government and commercial customers.
  • Maintain billing and client invoice list.
  • Compile/review invoice support for quality and completeness in advance of distribution to customers.
  • Submit electronic invoices via WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow) and other web-based customer interfaces.
  • Cash collection and analyze open A/R for delinquencies.
  • Review contract documents and set up/modify projects in accounting system.
  • Maintain contract backlog report and revenue forecast based on contract documents.
  • Assist with bi-weekly check run.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
  • Active learner, applies past experience to identify alternative solutions for current problems, able to understand and adjust to changing priorities, circumstances, direction and personal styles.
  • Collaborative team player who is also flexible to work independently as well.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience with government contracts and/or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
  • Must have government contracting experience with T&M, WAWF and FFP (CPFF preferred)
  • Must have a good understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and possess good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, self-review, have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
