Degree Audit Implementation AssistantThe George Mason University Office of the University Registrar invites applications for a Degree Audit Implementation Assistant to provide functional support for the development and implementation of our new degree audit system. Please note that the position is a part-time non-student wage position, and the hours worked per week will not exceed 20 hours. Responsibilities: The Degree Audit Implementation Assistant is responsible for supporting the Degree Compliance and Degree Audit teams within the Office of the University Registrar for the creation, testing, and implementation of Mason's new degree audit system. The Degree Audit Implementation Assistant will assist primarily in the Degree Audit and Degree Compliance teams within the Office of the University Registrar.Responsibilities include:Degree audit exceptions conversion from Degree Works to Stellic;Tracking of the progress of the overall conversion;Testing the new degree audit and associated tools within Stellic; andProcess complex academic records transactions that will have a special effect on the degree auditRequired Qualifications:Our ideal candidate would be an individual committed to the Degree Audit Implementation Assistant role continuing throughout the academic year and summer. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, demonstrate the ability to take the initiative and work independently. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.Project management skills;Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities while working independently to drive projects to completion with minimum guidance;Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to colleagues;Experience with user interface issues pertaining to navigation, usability, and functionality;Good understanding of issue troubleshooting;Proven ability to follow instructions and complete assigned projects and related tasks;Commitment to quality through the ability to translate complex functional/technical requirements into technical specifications using best practices to create high-quality systems; andWorking equally well in self-managed and team-based Agile projects and the ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to other team members.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with Degree Works or another degree audit tool; andExperience working with or reviewing student degree audits.
