Marketing Coordinator

Division of Professional Studies

UMBC's Division of Professional Studies (DPS) is seeking a creative marketing professional to manage digital campaigns and the creative development of various projects for internal clients. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the AVP of Marketing, the Director of Digital Strategies, the Associate Director of Marketing, and the rest of the Marketing team to increase inquiries, applications, and enrollments.  In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will also serve as the liaison between DPS and other campus departments on marketing matters and campus-wide initiatives. 

 

Specific duties include:

  • Creates, executes, and manages DPS digital marketing campaigns, providing content and creative development, execution, and performance updates.
  • Provides project management to clients including regular client meetings, drafting marketing activity plans, developing marketing collateral, website maintenance, and other marketing efforts as needed.
  • Coordinates with internal and external partners on marketing initiatives for DPS.
  • Provides support for marketing efforts that impact the institution. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Digital Marketing or related field and at least two years of professional experience in marketing, implementation/execution, strategic planning, communications and client management.

 

Some professional development and/or post-graduate work in related fields preferred.  Three years of experience managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, project management, and client relationship management preferred. Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, email marketing campaigns, and/or website content creation desired.

 

Position is full-time and includes a generous University benefits package.  Salary starts at $57,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
