The Executive Assistant to the Chief Revenue Officer is a role that embodies professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and collaboration. It's a highly responsible-and highly rewarding-supportive role; one that demands a mastery of time management, strong organizational skills, and deep attention to detail. Maintaining the CRO's daily schedule, identifying and prioritizing critical activities, organizing meetings and special events across several calendars, crafting professional correspondence, and providing great customer service are just a few of the duties essential to this role. You'll do all of this while supporting the CRO and the entire revenue team at our New York City office.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support to the CRO
    • Organize and manage daily operations in support of the CRO
    • Understand internal structure and proactively help prioritize
    • Arrange and schedule meetings, book frequent travel, keep detailed calendars up to date and organized
    • Keep an organized list of incoming requests (meetings and other) and use a system to review daily and weekly
    • Manage a heavy volume of meeting requests from internal and external stakeholders, clients and partners
    • Answer questions, resolve problems where possible and make referrals internally across the organization
    • Process regular expenses in a timely manner
    • Be willing to sometimes travel to Washington DC
  • Supporting the department on administrative tasks
    • Perform general administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and working with other departments as needed to keep the office running smoothly
    • Maintain logistical support for a 200+ person team
    • Schedule team meetings, arrange catering and supplies
    • Book travel and accommodations
    • Provide budgeting support and process invoices
  • Planning & executing large events
    • Organize events: small dinners with clients, internal dinners and team events and offsites
    • Plan and execute certain team employee events typically attended by 300+ employees
    • Manage and coordinate with events vendors (catering, vendor booths, games, bands, etc.)
    • Create memorable experiences at employee events with thoughtfully curated prizes, vendor selections, and engagement

Qualifications:
  • 7 or more years of experience as an executive assistant preferred
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Self-starter who proactively solves problems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Dropbox, and other products and ability to quickly learn new software tools and systems
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to interact professionally at all internal/external levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and HR matters
  • Ability to work fast and well under pressure
  • Strong service orientation and good judgment
  • Professional maturity.

Benefits may vary based on the job, full-time or part-time schedule, location, and collectively bargained status.

The Washington Post includes salary ranges for certain positions to comply with local pay transparency laws. The salary range for this position is:
67,400.00 - 112,300.00 USD Annual

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
