Full Research Professor The George Mason University Schar School of Policy and Government invites applications to fill a Full Research Professor position. Professor Faye Taxman is seeking a researcher to collaborate on research at the interface between health and criminology. This position will support the work of various studies focused on policies to advance interventions to interrupt offending, substance abuse and other risk behaviors, implementation studies, and/or or interventions to create high performing organizations. Please include three references that the interview team can contact.Responsibilities:Work on the study protocol;Create and maintain databases;Conduct sophisticated statistical analyses;Conduct qualitative studies;Manage response rates;Manage field staff;Collaborate with team members in and out of Mason, particularly with external researchers;Design new studies;Supervise students at all levels;Write and obtain grant funding;Promote ACE! through scholarly presentations and peer reviewed papers; andDevelop an international reputation.Required Qualifications:Ph.D. degree or other terminal degree;At least ten years of relevant experience working on research studies in the intersection of health and justice;Outstanding quantitative skills, including experience with SPSS, R, STATA, and/or SAS;Outstanding qualitative skills; andExcellent writing and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in policy, social sciences, and/or quantitative analyses;Publications;Experience with administrative data sets, randomized controlled data and working with teams from various institutions;Experience working with justice involved populations;Experience on equity issues; andExperience on corrections and court issues.
