Adventist HealthCare and Capital Choice Pathology (CCPL) seeks to hire an experienced Lead Histotechnologist for our Pathology Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Lead Histotechnologist, you will:
• Oversees production staff.
• Performs microtomy
• Fills control orders for projects
• Embeds all types of tissue
• Unloads tissue processors into embedding centers
• Cleans and maintains microtomes and embedding centers
• Scrapes and checks off blocks
• Documents discrepancies with blocks, slides and logs
• Keeps QC for embedding centers and microtomes
• Prints block logs using CoPath
• Recycles alcohol and formalin

Qualifications include:
• AS/BS Degree in Science or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Bench Tech in Histology
• HT/HTL(ASCP) Certification Required
• Meets CLIA regulations for high complexity testing.
• Leadership Experience preferred

Work Schedule:

Full Time Evenings: Monday-Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (Flexibility)
