Organizational Development & Learning Program AssistantThe George Mason University Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to serve as a part-time Organizational Development & Learning Program Assistant. George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.Responsibilities:Schedule leadership workshops, and other professional development opportunities;Provide administrative support to the Program Manager, including day-to-day management of multiple supervisory/leadership programs;Utilize a Learning Management System (LMS) to post trainings, manage registrations, run attendance reports, and update learning communities;Manage multiple email inboxes to provide timely and professional customer service to Mason faculty and staff, including referring complex issues to appropriate teammates as necessary;Assist with training preparation, including making copies, assembling binders/packets, and designing/updating virtual materials;Provide technical support for virtual trainings, including moderating Zoom meetings; andOther related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy;Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, follow through, and be flexible;Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism;Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision;Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals with differing needs at all levels of the organization;Demonstrated experience with data entry; andDemonstrated attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a Human Resources setting;Higher education or public workforce experience; andDemonstrated experience with learning management systems, Zoom, WordPress, and/or Canva.
