Capital One, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 best companies to work for" is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Associate to fill a Cross Channel Planning position on the Retail Bank Integrated Planning team to drive a unifying narrative and customer experience across a cross-functional team the Retail Bank Marketing organization and with our partners in Product. You will be responsible for developing multi-channel campaign strategy including audience insight development, creative strategy, messaging and cross-channel coordination. The ideal candidate has experience in multi-channel (Paid, owned and earned channels etc.) communication planning, content strategy and creative brief writing. You should be highly collaborative and able to drive direction and manage progress with multiple stakeholders including National Advertising, Retail Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Product, Creative and Corporate Communications.

  • Develop integrated communication strategy, inclusive of creative strategy and messaging, across multiple customer groups and channels that provides strategic direction for team's go-to-market plans
  • Collaborate with partner teams to build learning agendas for campaigns that include A/B testing, market research, analysis, etc. that lead to ongoing optimizations of our marketing strategy
  • Identify insights from multiple sources (market research, historical performance data, customer analysis, 3rd party research) and turn them into actionable marketing strategy recommendations
  • Keep pulse on the financial industry & marketing innovations to ensure we stay relevant and at the forefront of marketing
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual marketing planning

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with demonstrated experience effectively working with and influencing senior level and cross functional stakeholders
  • Thrives on collaboration, the opportunity to build in white space areas and the drive for results

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or Communications or military experience
  • At least 2 years planning, executing and analyzing marketing programs
  • At least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of multi-channel marketing experience in a client or marketing agency environment
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing for financial services or another highly regulated industry

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $99,500 - $113,600 for Sr. Associate, Marketing

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
