Information Technology Services is responsible for AARP enterprise-wide technology and information security functions. Services range from infrastructure design and operations, system and software lifecycle implementations, enabling the mobile workforce and protecting AARP network, systems and data. A variety of technologies and practices are used including cloud computing, automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning within highly collaborative Agile teams.
The Delivery Lead II, InfoSec TSP role drives predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on continuous team improvements. Engages in platform/product roadmap development and collaborates with stakeholders to assess information technology needs, define requirements, and develop solutions. Coaches the team on agile practices and ceremonies, facilitates activities, and leverages data to identify opportunities for team, process, or technology improvements.

Responsibilities
- Integrates rapid delivery (Agile or other) principles into team practices and work products, including coaching the team on reporting, backlog development, refinement, and prioritization, and facilitating team ceremonies.
- Ensures team incorporates best practices and enterprise guidance around architecture, information security, agile delivery, quality engineering, governance, service management, and user adoption.
- Drives creation of consistent, value-driven user stories and implementation of high-quality solutions while focusing on customer centricity.
- Leverages delivery analysis and tools to evaluate, optimize, and continuously improve team output and delivery of business and technology outcomes.
- Identifies risks and dependencies proactively, removes impediments, and spearheads team problem-solving to achieve resolution and/or escalate concerns as needed.
- Manages the team's financial budget, software licensing for applicable tools, and third-party relationships.
- Develops statements of work for third-party vendors or contractors that adhere to procurement standards and specifically includes operational requirements and outcome-based deliverables.
- Works with other delivery leads through a community of interest to increase the effectiveness of agile delivery within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years assessing third-party security risk, implementing third-party risk policies and procedures, and working with business units and vendors to treat third-party risk preferred
- Experience developing and ensuring compliance with contract security requirements and negotiating contract security terms preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to direct cross-functional teams to achieve risk management goals.
- Technology delivery experience from concept to design, development, implementation, and support.
- Proven ability to coordinate disparate information sources and drive results, including budget management experience.
- Progressive IT and security program management experience and use of agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Prior experience in Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance preferred.
- CRISC, CISM, CISA or related certification or ability to obtain one within 3 months preferred.
