Temporary Immigration Processing AssistantThe George Mason University Office of International Programs and Services (OIPS) invites applications for a Temporary Immigration Processing Assistant. Duties will include data entry and general office work associated with the processing of immigration documents with the SEVIS Coordination Team.Required Qualifications:This position requires an individual who is dependable, detail-oriented and well-organized;The successful candidate will be diligent, careful, and able to work collaboratively as well as independently; andSome of the duties associated with this position are governed by federal regulations; because of regulatory provisions, U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence is a requirement for the position.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to learn data systems quickly;Knowledge of Dynamic Forms, Adobe, and Excel;Ability to monitor email platforms and communicate with students on a daily basis;We seek a focused individual with a tolerance for repetitive tasks; andPrior experience with immigration processing and/or office work is helpful but not required.
