Warehouse Clerk (Hourly)

Westat is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support our field interviewers and responders on a national education study. A successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated professional who is dependable, has great attention to detail, available to work 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), and is deadline driven. This position is on-site at our Gaithersburg, MD location.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a US citizen
• Must work well both independently and as a member of a team in a professional environment.
• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations:
  • Lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs of study materials.
• Must be able to follow instructions for packing and unpacking supplies.
• Previous experience training new personnel regarding warehouse guidelines and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Westat is a plus
• One year experience working in a warehouse environment

These assignments are temporary hourly positions. Benefits are based on hours worked and tenure.
