Title: Junior Communications Specialist

Clearance: Public Trust

Location: Remote (Primary) & TSA HQ (Springfield, VA)

Overview:

IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company with an immediate opening for a Junior Communications Specialist position to support a federal client’s security threat assessment mission. The Junior Communications Specialist will research and prepare draft responses to request for information, congressional inquiries, general correspondence from internal and external stakeholders that require routing to leadership, presentations, white papers, point papers, media briefs, inquiry responses, briefings, meeting agendas, and other deliverables that are grammatically correct, written in plain language, and free from error. An established tracker managed by the office's communication team will be used to distribute, collect, and track all correspondence and communications. This position is exempt.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily correspondence and information requests that total close to 1,600 for each office annually.
  • Review and provide comment and coordination on externally produced documents.
  • Manage and monitor Customer Satisfaction Reports, providing compliance within queues.
  • Research and prepare clear and concise correspondence drafts for stakeholders within and outside of the office.
  • Route and track correspondence and communications through leadership for review, editing, and clearance.
  • Provide weekly reporting on queue accomplishment.
  • Provide statistical analysis and development of current metrics and reports, on an ad-hoc basis.

Required Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years of experience with a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science degree or 8 years of experience with no degree.
  • Exceptional communication skills with emphasis on effectively communicating detailed information to a variety of stakeholders (both written and verbal).
  • Experience producing varied written products.
  • Strong organization and professional maturity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint & SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a national security or transportation security-related mission.
  • Experience in a mission that performs threat investigations.
  • Experience in a mission that deals with Known or Suspected Terrorists (KSTs) and/or KST associates.
  • Experience briefing peers and/or superiors on a work products or topics.
